Publisher's black cloth, spine stamped in red, front with embossed skull ornament; top edge of text block trimmed and stained red; pictorial map endpapers; original illustrated dust jacket. Slight lean to spine; light wear at extremities of binding; foot of spine crimped. Evidence of label removed from front pastedown. Text block a bit yellowed with age; small brown spot at fore-edge. Wear at edges of jacket resulting in creasing, several short tears, and some small chips out of spine and flap fold ends; spine panel sunned. Very good.
