    T.G. Bradford 1838 Map of the United States. 25.75" x 16.25", "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the Year 1838, by T.G. Bradford, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of Massachusetts." This map was taken from Bradford's An Illustrated Atlas, Geographical, Statistical, and Historical, of the United States and the adjacent countries, published in 1838. The atlas included maps of North America, Canada, 28 U.S. states, the Republic of Texas, the Caribbean, and 8 U.S. cities: Washington, New Orleans, Louisville, Cincinnati, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.

    Condition: Light mat burn and toning around edges, mild foxing. Some light transfer has occurred from map on opposite page. Small tear at middle of lower edge. Very fine condition.
