Publisher's pictorial brown cloth decorated in gilt and blind, backed in brown morocco, spine decorated in gilt. Corners bumped and rubbed, joints starting, head and foot of spines chipped and worn with some losses, soiled, signs of repairs to joins, corners, and edges, but worn. Pastedowns unevenly toned, free endpapers refreshed, hinges reinforced with brown cloth, Volume I with minor worming to edges, Volume II endpapers soiled with moderate worming to edges and hinges, binder's ticker to rear pastedown. Somewhat foxed and soiled, some offsetting, text pages toned, map plates toned in margins, some pages creased and repaired, Volume II with some dampstaining to bottom margins. Good or better.
