    More Information: Jan Jansson. Alexandri Magni Macedonis Expeditio. [Amsterdam: 1652 (or later)]. Original map of the Near and Middle East, from Accuratissima orbis Antiqui Delineatio. Single sheet, two pages (18.625 x 22.125 inches; 472 x 562 mm.). Full hand-coloring; decorative cartouches. Large paper repair around the bottom of the centerfold substantial piece on the verso with a smaller square just in the margin on the recto, closed tear along the repair's right edge; prepared stub either replaced or reattached. Short closed tear at the top of the centerfold; faint mat burn, margins lightly toned with marginal spotting; small chip to the upper edge; ink notation in the upper-left corner. About very good but still presents nicely.
