Title, index, Outline & index map, 34 double-page map plates backed with heavy linen. Empty ribbon-bound paper portfolio at rear. Full cloth with gilt titles to front and spine with leather backstrip and corners. Covers worn with corners and spine abraded with some loss. Front cover detached with attached preliminary. Rear cover with weakened joint and hinge starting. Remnants of leather tabs on some pages with toning and light occasional thumbsoiling. Linen backing with some occasional fraying. Pages lightly toned. Detailed maps are beautifully hand-colored and show the juxtaposition of past landholders and present day property lines. Ownership stamps at front. Generally, a near fine set of this wonderful visual document of early twentieth-century Staten Island.
