    Marie Curie. Autograph Postcard Signed. "M. Curie." Postcard in French, 5.5" x 3.5", [Paris]; May 5, 1907. A postcard addressed to American dancer Loïe Fuller (1862-1928).
    Curie writes [English translation], "Dear friend, it is very difficult to find the time during the week. I ask you, then, to come Sunday afternoon, either this Sunday or the following one.

    Marie Sklodowska Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person and only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields (physics and chemistry).

    Condition: The postcard, except for a few minor creases, is in good condition.
