An Early Reproduction of the Original Hand-Corrected Typescript of Rabbit Redux, Inscribed to Collector Keith Baker

John Updike. Rabbit Redux. [New York]: Knopf, November 1971. Early reproduction of the entire original hand-corrected typescript (photocopy) of Updike's second novel in the "Rabbit" series. Inscribed by Updike, "to Keith Baker / John Updike" on the first leaf. Approximately 11 x 8.5 inches. 482 loose leaves (the cover leaf is apparently hand-typed). Corrections are in photocopy as well. Some leaves with some toning, wear, or tears (some tears with tape repairs). Some leaves with remnants of publisher's stickers. Still, a very good and unusual item. Evidently there was only one of six of these photocopies distributed (from a pencil note on the first leaf). From the collection of Alexander J. Jemal, Jr.
