I want to see you. I've abused your Outline Everywhere & I feel I ought to show you that I forgive [overleaf] you for anything I've said about it. (But then I think you have written the greatest historical novel ever done [Wells is evidently referring to Mitchison's The Corn King and the Spring Queen]. Bless you anyhow. - whether you like it or not Yours H. G." Card browned and mildly creased. Good.

    More Information:

Naomi Mitchison (Scottish novelist, poet and scientist, 1897-1999) was a vocal feminist and socialist, perhaps the best reason she moved in the same circles as Wells. Her works were considered controversial for their outspoken feminist point of view and her frank depiction of sexual matters and birth control. Her work as a science fiction novelist was heavily influenced by Wells. Her historical novel, The Corn King and the Spring Queen (1931) is considered by many to be one of the best of its kind of the twentieth century.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
