    M. Scott Carpenter, et. al.: First Printing of We Seven by the Astronauts Themselves Signed by the Mercury Seven. (New York: Simon and Schuster, 1962), first printing, 352 pages, black cloth binding with white lettering on the spine and front board, 8vo (6.5" x 9.5"), dust jacket. Illustrated endpapers. Inscribed (in Scott Carpenter's hand) and signed on the front free endpaper "For Jo Ruth & Jimmy Kerr - Scott Carpenter" and below Carpenter by the remainder of the Mercury Seven as follows: "Gordon Cooper", "D K Slayton", "J H Glenn Jr.", "Wally Schirra", "Alan B Shepard Jr.", and "Gus Grissom". The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is good, with two noticeable tears along the top edge, spine fold wear, and general edge wear. A rare first printing of We Seven signed by all seven on the original roster of NASA astronauts.
