    Six Gorgeous Views of Rome by Rossini

    Luigi Rossini (1790-1857). Six Architectural Views of Rome from Le Antichita Romane. Rome: 1819-1829, including: "Venduta del Monumento Sepolerale." [and:] "Interno del Colosseo." [and:] "Veduta del Ponte Salario." [and:] "Veduta del Castello dell' Acqua Giulia." [and:] "Veduta del Ponte Molle sul Tevere." [and:] "Veduta dell' Antica Porta Lutina." All are in good or better condition with mild toning and occasional light foxing. Some minor edge wear and small tears. Other than the one mentioned below, none within platemarks. The "Veduta del Castello" plate with folds to margins, none within platemark. The "Veduta del Monumento Sepolcrale" plate shows dampstaining along edges, extending into image and one tear that extends to platemark. Approximately 21 x 29.5 inches each.
