Rebound in modern black library buckram, title in gilt at head of spine, paper label at bottom of spine, all edges gilt with stamped design at corners of text block (upper edge rubbed); piece of cellophane tape and ink corrosion in front flyleaf from old large holograph ex-libris "D. Franci Ricardi" (?), two library stamps on title page "Bibliotheca C. SS. R. Ilchester, MD," blind stamps "Bibliotheca Mt. St. Alphonsus Esopus , N.Y." and catalog sticker on verso of title page, modern library pocket on rear pastedown. Edge wear and small paper chips in upper margins near spine, pages cockled, foxing, dampstains, and soiling. Very good. From the Franklin V.
