Seven octavos from Moxon's series of poetry, each edited and with a critical memoir by William Michael Rossetti. Matching bindings in different colors. Publisher's cloth over boards with beveled edges, elaborately embossed in black and gold, gilt author's name on front cover and on spine, all edges gilt. Included are the works of William Cowper, Thomas Campbell, John Milton, Samuel T. Coleridge, and Felicia Hemans, each of which have engravings by Thomas Seccombe. Also included is a volume of the works of Thomas Hood with engravings by Gustave Dore and the works of Lord Byron with engravings by Ford Madox Brown. Bindings lightly rubbed, edge wear and small corner bumps, spines lightly sunned and bumped at head and foot, bookplates, inscriptions, occasional holograph annotations, few over-opened and pages, light foxing; otherwise in very good condition.
