Spine askew; backstrip a bit toned; general light rubbing and thumbsoiling. A few pages roughly opened; occasional over-opening; some scattered offsetting, creasing or thumbsoiling throughout. Jacket split at the front joint fold; general wear with some soiling. A near fine copy in a fair dust jacket. Chemised in red quarter-morocco slipcase. BAL 4071; Grolier, American 98.
