    Rudyard Kipling. The Jungle Book [and:] The Second Jungle Book. London: Macmillan and Co., 1894-1895. First editions. Two octavo volumes. Original blue cloth, front boards decorated with gilt central motifs, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt. Spines a touch discolored with ends slightly bumped, a touch of rubbing on board edges. Occasional thumbsoiling on outer margins, some places over-opened, free endpapers has adhesive remnants. Volume I has spine cocked, lower corners bumped, and text block edges lightly foxed. Volume II text block slightly cockled, with staining on page 14. Housed in chemise and in a slipcase with spine sunned. A very good set of the classic set featuring the adventures of Mowgli the man-cub.
