    More Information: Robert Louis Stevenson. Kidnapped being Memoirs of Adventures of David Balfour. [London]: Cassell & Company, 1886. First edition. Octavo. viii, 311, [17, ad] pages. One folding map. Original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, edges untrimmed. Board edges rubbed, spine leaning and a bit darkened, spine ends starting to fray, small ink stain on lower portion of front joint. Text block edges lightly toned with slight effect on outer margins of sheets, top edge modestly darkened, front hinge cracking, preliminary and terminal leaves lightly foxed, minor stain on title page with offsetting on folding map, several places over-opened with stitched binding and mull exposed as well as a few short tears on lower margins. A good, clean copy worthy of rebinding.
