    First Edinburgh edition with "Roxburgh" misspelled "Boxburgh" on page xxxvii and "stinking" for "skinking" on page 263. Small quarto. 368 pages. Engraved frontispiece.

    Custom full calf with morocco spine label. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Mildly rubbed extremities. Pages lightly toned with occasional foxing. Some pages with modest dampstaining to top edge, acquired prior to rebinding. A near fine copy.
