First edition of one of Mason's pseudonymously published satires. Quarto. 12 pages. Disbound. Foxing. Small area of chipping and discoloration at the bottom corner of the title page, where also is written " U. S. History - Revolution 1776" in red ink. Very good. Samuel Johnson is one of the objects of satire in this piece: "Poor Doctor Johnson, I'm afraid, Can give but metaphoric Aid; His Style's care-harden'd Graces..." Gaskell 17.
