Includes an envelope hand-addressed by Byron with the wax seal still intact, a fine early original pencil drawing of Byron, an ALS from Lady Byron, and a fine engraved portrait of Thomas Campbell, with his signature mounted above. Bound by Stikeman in three-quarter maroon morocco with gilt titles and decoration. Volume I with leather bookplate of Mortimer L. Schiff to front pastedown. Light surface flaking on a few joints and some modest shelfwear, else a fine set.
