Complete with errata slip tipped in on rear flyleaf; closed tear in center of leaf. Crossed-out signatures on first paste-down and free endpaper. Small tear in first half-title, and half title for "Blessings." P. 4 of blessings has torn corner, text unaffected. Mild foxing. From the Krown & Spellman Collection.

    More Information: Bartlett (1762-1827) was a spendthrift adventurer who volunteered as a captain of volunteers in Shay's Rebellion. The poem "Physiognomy" is a satire of the well-known men of his day. He is no relation to the Bartlett of "Bartlett's Quotations."
