Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1892.

    First edition. Four octavos. Publisher's green cloth, lettering stamped in gilt on spines and front covers, beveled edges, top edges gilt. Light rubbing and soiling on covers, a bit of extremity wear, spine ends bumped with cloth chipping, toning on page edges. Early Spring in Massachusetts has front hinge over-opened, small chip on lower corner of p. 99/100. Summer has title page detaching. Autumn has bookplate on front pastedown. Winter has ink inscription on front flyleaf. Overall, a very good set.
