    Harriet Beecher Stowe. Lot of Six Titles in Eight Volumes. [Boston and elsewhere: 1884-1938]. Six titles in eight volumes (four are octavo, two are sixteenmo, two are quarto). All but one (L'Oncle Tom) are in the original publisher's bindings. Some wear, soiling, some ownership markings. Generally very good.

    Titles include: Uncle Tom's Cabin Illustrated (Boston: 1884). First appearance of the New Illustrated edition; Sunny Memories of Foreign Lands (Boston: 1854). First edition, two volumes in publisher's presentation binding chemised in slipcase (the chemises state that there is a broadside included, but the broadside is missing); La Case de L'Oncle Tom. (Bruxelles, 1852).Two sixteenmo volumes. First French translation); Men of Our Times (Hartford, 1868). First edition; Memorial Edition of Uncle Tom's Cabin (Philadelphia, 1897). Salesman's dummy with binding samples and blank subscriber's sheets; Uncle Tom's Cabin. (New York, 1938). Limited Editions Club, signed by Miguel Covarrubias. In slipcase.
