    More Information:

Gerard Langbaine (1656-92), an early historian of dramatic poetry, was well known for his knowledge of the novels and plays in various languages, and indeed he was a constant and critical attender of plays for many years. He is best known for the present offering, a digest based upon a catalogue of plays collected by the London bookdealer Kirkman and appended to a 1671 translation of a play by Corneille.  He himself referred to it as a collection of "above 980 English plays and masques, besides drolls and interludes." It remains a significant contribution to dramatic history. It includes many details, including the early productions of Shakespeare and other eminent bards.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
