    Three octavo volumes. [viii], 361, [1, blank], [2, ads]; [viii], 319, [1, blank]; [viii], 313, [1, blank], [16, ads] pages. Publisher's full brown cloth, boards, decoratively ruled and paneled in blind, spines stamped and lettered in gilt. This copy has the ad leaf in the rear of volume I, indicating that this copy is a second state, as per Carter. In Carter's "B" binding (no binder's tickets are in this copy, but the spine gilt differs from the "A" binding, priority not firmly established). Library label on the front board of each volume, spines toned and worn, joints torn, bindings worn and soiled, hinges cracked, two ownership signature on front free endpapers. Text foxed and soiled. Fair.
