London: Charles Knight and Co., 1839-41. First edition thus. Contemporary full leather bindings with gilt titles and raised bands. All edges gilt. Volume one has broken front joint and hinge with backstrip separating, but present. Some rubbing and edgewear to extremities. Spine ends bumped with some loss. Some minor toning throughout. Good.
