[iii-viii], 91, [1, blank] pages, lacking the half-title leaf, two leaves of ads (pages [93-96]) and publisher's eight-page catalog. Modern brown half-morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, spine lettered and ruled in gilt with two raised bands, tooled in gilt; all edges trimmed; plain endpapers; flyleaves. Backstrip just a shade dulled; boards very lightly rubbed. Front endpapers faintly discolored at the lower portion of the gutter margin; endpapers and fly leaves with some light offsetting from leather. Title-leaf soiled, brief pencil notations partially erased; page margins foxed; occasional faint marginal tidemark, including to the title-leaf; bottom corners of first few leaves creased; trace light edgewear.
