In three quarto volumes. Illustrated, with engraved plates and fold-out maps, some hand-colored. Contemporary half-leather over marbled boards. All edges stained red. Extremities gently rubbed and edgeworn. Light scattered foxing. Ink ownership signatures of Ferd. Platner and A.E. Russell. Bookplates of Diana Russell. Overall very good.
