Original purple cloth stamped in blind on front and back, in gilt on spine. Pale yellow endpapers. Edges untrimmed. Mild shelf wear to extremities; light bumping to corners; spine faded to light brown; additional soft fading to hinge and upper edge, front and back; small rupture to cloth on front upper corner; very small spots of brown splash soiling to front and back. Slight dust soiling to top edge. Evidence of occasional previous dog-earing to interior. Bookplate on front pastedown. Near fine. Gimbel A145. From the Collection of Jerome P. O'Connor.
