Octavo. viii, 190 pages. With fourteen illustrations by S. L. Fildes, including the portrait frontispiece and vignette title page. Three-quarter tan polished calf over dark brown pebbled cloth boards with gilt titles on a red leather spine label. Moderate rubbing and scuffing to leather, especially along the joints and at the corners. Minimal scattered foxing. Overall, the plates are very clean. A handsome, near fine copy.
