    Charles Dickens. Bleak House. London: Bradbury and Evans, 1853. First edition. Octavo. [iii]-xvi, 624 pages. Forty engraved plates by Phiz, including the called-for frontispiece and vignette title page, with five of the ten dark plates in the first state. Modern green morocco by Bayntun-Riviére, boards ruled in gilt, raised bands and gilt titles on spines, all edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Board edges lightly rubbed, gilt edges somewhat roughened. Page edges a bit toned, occasional faint foxing. A very nice copy.
