[10], 668, 228; [12], 88, [2], 93-170, [1], 163-292, 79, 70-122, 133-155, [1], 75, [1], 159, [1], 132 pages. Though some pages numbered incorrectly, text appears complete. Volume I includes: Every Man In His Humour; Every Man Out of His Humour; Cynthias Revels; Poetaster; Sejanus; Volpone; Epicoene; The Alchemist; Catiline; Epigrammes; The Forrest; Part of the King's Entertainment; Masques. Volume II includes: Bartholmew Fayre; The Divell is an Asse; Under-Woods; The Magnetick Lady; A Tale of a Tub; The Sad Shepherd; The Staple of News; Masques; Horace, His Art of Poetrie; The English Grammar; and Timber. Contemporary full speckled calf, rebacked to style with original spine labels laid down. Chipping and abrading to boards. Hinges cracked. Bookplate and portion of pastedown from Volume I crudely excised. Volume I with engraved title page reinforced along fore-edge. Light chipping to preliminary pages of both volumes. Mild toning and scattered foxing to pages, with an occasional notation or small tear. An important set in about very good condition.
