Publisher's green cloth with gilt lettering and gilt pictorial stamping, blind-stamped borders and decorations; yellow coated endpapers. Binding cocked. Wear to edges and some gilt rubbed; a couple of moisture spots to front board. Occasional foxing; dampstain affecting bottom margin of the last ninety or so pages. Tip of rear free endpaper missing. Neat period gift inscription on front free endpaper ("for being a good boy"). An about very good copy.
