Four quarto parts in two volumes. 332; 670; 414; 823 pages. Continuous pagination between parts of each volume. Extra-illustrated with engraved frontispieces and numerous engraved plates (some in multiple states), including portraits, views, and facsimiles. Laid in is an Autograph Letter Signed from Thomas Moore. Uniform custom full blue morocco with five raised bands by Riviere and Son. Gilt ruled boards and compartments with gilt titles on backstrip. Gilt top edges with remaining edges untrimmed. Bookplate of Robert Hoe, first president of The Grolier Club, on verso of front free endpaper of each volume. Additional bookplate below. Lightly rubbed extremities with some darkening along backstrips. Minor cracking to some joints. Offsetting to preliminary pages. Pages modestly toned. Scattered foxing throughout, mainly around preliminary pages. Housed in two custom clamshell boxes. All volumes in near fine condition.
