Gutter repair to prelims in volume one. Paper repair to page 15 of volume one. Light occasional foxing. Very good. A rare work that includes engraved portraits and biographies on a number of unusual personalities in early 19th-century Britain.

    More Information: Engraved title page to a similar work dated 1821 laid in to the rear of volume I. Several pages of The Gentleman's Magazine for 1750 laid in to the rear of volume II.
