Large octavo (9.25 x 6.5 inches; 234 x 166 mm.). xviii, 242 pages; portrait frontispiece and twenty two photogravure illustrations after Remington by A. W. Elson, inserted throughout; tissue guards. Publisher's vellum, boards ruled in gilt, front board decoratively stamped in gilt, spine lettered in gilt; top edge gilt. Spine lightly toned; some mild rubbing; minor edgewear to binding; light soiling to boards; boards slightly bowed outward. Endleaves and text toned. Still, near fine.
