[Edgar Allan Poe]. Bound Copies of Graham's Lady's and Gentleman's Magazine With First Publications of Edgar Allan Poe Stories and Poems. Philadelphia: George R. Graham, 1841. Includes volume XVIII with issues numbered 1 through 6 and volume XIX with with issues 1 through 6. Small quarto. 296 and 308 pages respectively, bound in one volume, with mezzotints and steel engravings. In modern black cloth over boards. Moderate foxing throughout. Extra illustrations. Previous owner has affixed clipped book dealer's description to front pastedown. Inked notations to endpapers. Poe was editor of Graham's Magazine at this time and obviously took advantage of the opportunity to include as many of his works as possible, including "Murders in the Rue Morgue," "Descent Into Maelström," "Never Bet Your Head," "A Chapter on Autography," and "Colloquy of Manos and Una."
