Volumes III, IV, and V are first American editions. 219; 228; 232; 223; 205 pages, with four pages of advertisements at the beginning and end of Volume III, four pages of advertisements at the beginning of Volume IV, four pages of advertisements at the beginning of Volume V, and two pages at the end, and an additional 12 pages of advertisements at the end of Volume V titled "Companion to Astoria."
Publisher's orange cloth over drab boards with white title plates on the spine lettered in black. Bindings worn, minor chipping to spine ends, corners bumped, and a small piece of the spine missing on Volume IV. Title plates faded on the last three volumes. Overall good condition.
