Broadsheet (24.125 x 18.25 inches; 614 x 463 mm. folio). 8 pages. Two folded sheets, unbound. Some toning to page edges; very sparse spots of foxing. Single vertical, three horizontal creases across all leaves, most pronounced on recto of first; wear and mild soiling, including speck of pink and small spot of brown, at folds. Subtly repaired at creases, corners and edges. Minor thumbsoiling to first leaf. Very good. Rare first appearance of the newspaper edited by Charles Dickens. Includes editorial believed to be by Dickens on p. 4 and "Travelling Letters. Written on the Road" on p. 6 which would form first chapter of Pictures from Italy.
