    Zane Grey. Betty Zane. New York: Charles Francis, 1903. First edition of Grey's rare first book. Inscribed by Grey on the first blank: "Very truly yours/Zane Grey-". Octavo. [4], 291, [1, blank] pages. With frontispiece and five inserted plates. Publisher's full gray cloth, front board stamped in colors, spine lettered in gilt. Cloth spine dull; some soiling and edgewear to spine; some rubbing to lower edge of binding; some rubbing to colors on front board; some thumbsoiling to binding; front hinge cracked; some thumbsoiling to endleaves, and intermittent thumbsoiling in text. Binding skewed. Boards a bit rounded. Still, a very good copy of this rare title. From the James C. Seacrest Collection.
