Publisher's dark blue cloth, front board and spine lettered in yellow, publisher's device stamped in blind on the spine, in the original first-state dust jacket. Spine faintly dulled; spine ends somewhat worn; boards lightly rubbed with occasional light soiling, some mild bubbling to front board near spine. Hinges just starting (more so on the rear hinge), some light wear to endpapers. Dust jacket spine panel browned; front panel fold mostly split; edges worn with some chipping, including minor loss to bottom edge of the front panel; some light soiling; two tape repairs to verso. A very good copy in a good or better jacket, housed in a custom clamshell case. One of 3,047 copies. Petersen A4b.
