    This is copy number "48". This copy is illustrated with two woodcuts by Lynd Ward (one of which is mounted on page [2]). Beneath this mounted woodcut, is a later plate typed and signed by Lynd Ward, signifying the edition of this book. Additionally, there is an autograph note signed by Ward discussing this book laid-in. Octavo. [1, half-title], [1, blank], 67, [1, blank], [1, signed limitation], [3, blank] pages. Publisher's binding with two woodcuts mounted on front board. Issued without dust jacket. Spine and edges of binding a bit browned, some dampstaining to boards near fore-edge, a two-page poetic inscription by a previous owner on the front free endpaper. Very good. Housed in later chemise and cardboard slipcase.
