Number 192 of 250 numbered copies, signed by the author on the inserted limitation page. Octavo (7.8125 x 5.125 inches; 199 x 130 mm.). [2, inserted limitation leaf], [4, inserted half-title and title], v-vii, [1,blank], [1, contents], [1, blank], 455, [3, blank] pages. Verso of title-page: "New and Revised Edition. Set up and electrotyped. Published March, 1924."
    Publisher's quarter light blue green cloth over brown paper-covered boards with paper labels on front cover and spine printed in black. Uncut and partially unopened. Spine slightly faded to green; spine label quite browned; light rubbing to spine extremities; corners lightly bumped, with a bit of board exposed on the lower corner of the front board; lower edge of rear board dinged. Tiny sliver of paper adhered to front cover just above paper label. Endpapers foxed and lightly browned. Several leaves poorly opened. Short split (three-eighths inch) to lower edge of limitation leaf where it is affixed to the front free endpaper; short split (five-eighths inch) to lower edge of half-title where it is affixed to the limitation leaf. Over-opened in a few places. Light browning and chipping to the uncut edges. A few leaves in the last few gatherings with tiny tears to the lower margin corresponding to the ding on the rear board. A bit of blue ink from the copy number on the limitation page has offset onto half-title. Small stain on pages 8 and 9. A very good copy.
    First published in Great Britain on November 3, 1922, and in New York on April 8, 1924. Contains the following plays: Cathleen ni Houlihan; The Pot of Broth; The Hour-Glass (in Prose); The King's Threshold; On Baile's Strand; The Shadowy Waters (Stage Version); Deirdre; The Unicorn from the Stars (in collaboration with Lady Gregory); The Green Helmet; The Hour-Glass (in Verse); The Player Queen; plus Notes ["The Legendary and Mythological Foundation of the Plays"] and Music for Plays ["The Music for Use in the Performance of these Plays"]. The music is by Florence Farr, Sarah Allgood, and from Irish and Aran Traditional Airs.
    Roth 182 and Wade 137 (both giving the publication date as September 16, 1924).
