A bright copy in fine condition. Accompanied by a photocopy of a letter sent from Pynchon to Carla Urban, the inscribee's mother, in which Pynchon agrees to sign some books for her son, Michael, a lymphoma sufferer whose birthday was coming soon. Four books signed from Pynchon to Michael Urban, including this one, appear in this auction.
