Two large octavo volumes. xi [xii], 434, [1, colophon], [1 blank]; [iv], [435-436], 437-900, [1, colophon], [3 blank]. Two inserted frontispieces. Publisher's blue and green striped paper boards backed in faux-vellum with titles in gilt on spines. Lower corners bumped with mild fraying; touches of wear to board edges; mild soil and faint crease to both spines; two tiny dark marks to spine of second volume and one at rear board. Still, a near fine set.
