Signatures include Marlon Brando, Kim Hunter, Jessica Tandy, and Karl Malden. Inscribed by Kim Hunter on the verso of the first blank: "Love + best wishes / always, Danny- / one of my Favorite / people- / Kim." Selznick's ownership inscription on the lower corner of the half-title page. Octavo (9 x 5.75 inches; 228 x 146 mm.). [2, blank], 171, [3, blank] pages. Publisher's red pictorial boards. Original dust jacket. Book's spine a bit toned; binding worn at edges; front joint starting; text a bit toned; light soiling to edges of text block; last few leaves a bit wrinkled. Dust jacket spine toned; jacket worn and chipped; jacket toned and thumbsoiled; price-clipped. Still, very good. Danny Selznick (born in 1936) is a producer and the youngest son of David O. Selznick; it was Selznick's mother, Irene Mayer Selznick, who produced the stage version of Streetcar Named Desire; it was she who recommended to film producer Charles Feldman to cast Kim Hunter in the screen version.
