One of 788 copies surviving copies after the recall bound in the original publisher's cloth, which is in good condition, except for minor wear at each end of the spine; original dustjacket in very good condition, except for minor toning on back (in mylar wrapper); internally very good, clean copy, with slight toning on top edges. Bookplate of previous owner. In custom made cloth box. Overall very good condition. Gallup 443a.

    This is the last major written by Nobel laureate T.S. Eliot, consisting of four linked poems, "Burnt Norton," "East Coker," "The Dry Salvages," and "Little Gidding."

    A superb copy of the rare first edition, first impression of the work Eliot considered his finest.
