    Stephen Vincent Benét. The Devil and Daniel Webster. New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1937. Fourth printing. Inscribed by the director of the 1941 film and signed by members of the cast and crew to a [unknown]co-worker.

    Inscribed by the producer/director William Dieterle on the half-title: "Thanks for helping me/make this picture/William Dieterle/June 11, 1941". Signed by twenty-seven members of the cast and crew (in pencil) on the front free endpaper and the first rear blank, including Walter Huston, Jane Darwell and Jeff Corey. Octavo. [2, blank], 61, [1, blank], [4, blank] pages. Publisher's full gray cloth, front cover and spine lettered in blue, dust jacket. Jacket toned and somewhat worn with a few tears and some soiling, tape repair to verso, some mild wear to binding. Good.
