First edition, painted issue, limited to 108 copies, of which this is number two, and signed by the author with a hand-written limitation statement on the rear endpapers. Octavo (9 x 6 inches; 228 x 150 mm). 64 pages, printed on light greenish blue laid-paper stock. Publisher's orange quarter-cloth with oversized (nine inches square), dark grayish-green paper-covered boards, hand-painted by the author on the front board; spine lettered in gilt; top edge of text block stained dark blue; red endpapers. Extremities very lightly worn; spine ends very softly pushed. Page edges very faintly toned. Just about fine. From the collection John K. Martin, publisher of Black Sparrow Press, with his label on the rear endpaper.
