    Juan Ramón Jiménez. Corrected Carbon Typescript, Signed in full in pencil, of an Essay Entitled "En Casas de Poe." With a penciled Autograph Letter, Signed (...su amigo, Juan Ramón) on the verso of the last leaf transmitting the essay to Andrés Vázquez, editor of the Argentine periodical Literaria in Buenos Aires. [No place: no date, c. 1950]. Corrected carbon typescript of this essay on Poe as poet, and on North American verse of the nineteenth century. Four quarto sheets, 8.5 × 11 inches (215 x 280 mm.). Jiménez has made minor corrections in pencil on each page, and signed at the end. Paper is toned and soiled, and somewhat tattered around the edges. A few edgetears, including a large tear of about 3 inches to the top of the first page at the fold. Horizontal and vertical folds. Very good. The article was also published in Insula, in July 1957. Juan Ramón Jiménez was a Spanish poet who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1956.
