Cloth spine creased; binding partially edgeworn; some soiling to binding; endleaves slightly offset or foxed; text slightly toned; some light occasional soiling in text; a few short tears in text; upper edge of text block foxed. Dust jacket spine sunned; edge of jacket chipped with occasional loss of text; jacket worn with tears, creases, soiling, foxing and toning. Small ink notation to rear jacket panel at top. Overall, a near fine copy in a good dust jacket. Housed in cloth clamshell case. The author's first book. Goldstone and Payne A1a.
