Titles include Guillotine Party and Other Stories [1935], A World I Never Made [1936], The Short Stories of James T. Farrell [1934], When Boyhood Dreams Come True [1946], Literature and Morality [1947], The League of Frightened Philistines [1947, proof copy], More Fellow-Countrymen [1946], and Father and Son [1947, first reprint edition]. Eight octavo volumes. Publishers' full cloth, seven in dust jackets. Boards and board edges mildly rubbed and lightly soiled, some corners slightly bumped. Text block edges a bit toned. Dust jackets somewhat rubbed, edges moderately worn and chipped, spine panels toned, Father and Son jacket price-clipped. Overall, very good. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.
